Normal!!
hey all! I just wanted to shout to the world that I , Phoenix, have made it to the "normal" range on the BMI scale!!!!!!!! It's been almost 2 years, and I am normal! Normal, normal, normal!!! this is the first time in my lift that I have reached this! I cannot believe that just 2 years ago I was "Morbidly Obese"! I am wearing sz 5/6-7 and couldn't be happier with my accomplishments thus far! I am 15 lbs from my ultimate goal, and just 2 more surgeries away from being "complete" in my plastics journey.
At 2 years out, I have run into some problems with the "carb demons", but am getting a handle on it and making myself log onto fitday so that I can make sure not to get too comfortable in experimenting with food! I still restrict my sugar intake and have exercised moderately (although i COULD and WILL do better!) I just feel blessed and wanted to pat myself on the back...publicly! hope all is well with everyone and have a gr8 "normal" day! AhahAha!

Hi Phoenix....Ginny here, just wanted to say congrats on getting to a normal BMI. Haven't seen you in ages so glad to see your post. I've missed you. We not only had RNY (2-8-04) surgery same time, seems we had tummy tucks(6-2-06) same time as well so we are trailing each other for sure. I did have my breast lift in Sept. You look great! We have our 2 yr anniversary coming up in 2 months!!! Can you believe two years has passed???
Congrats on your weightloss Phoenix!!
Hi Phoenix, another 2/05 surgery friend here, congratulations on getting that normal BMI. It's great seeing you post, it sure has been a long time since I've seen you around, hope all continues to go well for you.
As for carbs, been there done that and still somedays struggle. I do believe though as long as we stay on top of it we'll be fine. The tricky part is finding the right balance to stay at goal.
Best wishes,
Dana
