Stomach Rumbling
I have been out 1 year now and these past six months or so i notice after i eat my stomach rumbles loudly all the time. And i work in a very quiet office in cubicles and its very embarrassing and its not growling from hunger, its growling after i eat or even after i drink. Has anyone experienced this and what can i do about this??
My stomach has been real rumbly lately and I've been trying to figure it out! I'm almost 14 months out. I didn't have this rumbling until recently so it's pretty puzzling. I haven't been able to connect it to any certain food, time of day, nothing. Some days she rumbles, some days she's quiet!! Sorry I wasn't much help, but you aren't alone at least! Jeanne

I am 26+ months out and I just adopted the "talk to my pouch" routine. It grumbles...and I tell it be pipe down! I'm not sure this ever goes away! If it is really driving you that crazy, I hope it does for you. Me? I'm used to it, and so is everyone else I'm close to!
Take care,
Jules
Hey Monique,
Sorry to be a party pooper, but I'm well over 5 years post op, and just yesterday one of my co-workers was making fun of my LOUD-ASS belly talk LOL... We had not finished lunch to 10 minutes b4, and she asked me to help her on the computer.. and the old geizer decided to voice itself.. LOL.. Its completely normal.. My co-worker thoguht I hadn't eaten near enuf, but I assured her it was just my gastric workings flowing... of course, as a non-op, she surely thought "get her the hell out of my office, b4 she explodes"...
Meanwhile, I went on with my business, as usual.
You'll get used to your tummy talk. I actually didn't think a thing of it, til my co-worker pointed it out LOL
As far as what to do about it.. just go with the flow!

I'm 10 months out, 100 pounds down and I rumble and even have squishy sounds and weird noises! I'm used to it and ignore it. It happens most often after eating within about 1/2 hour or so. Gas-X helps the worst of it, but nothing stops it except starvation!
As one of the few side effects so far ( including gas from HELL) I guess I can live with it.
