I like my carbs, I think alot of us do. This is my newest discovery on what I think is a pretty WLS friendly carb source. Quinoa. http://www.quinoa.net/ If you've never tried it or heard of it, it's alot like couscous in texture and absolutely tasty It's also fairly high in protein (for a grain) Very very easy on the pouch too. Just something new to try, especially if you are a rice lover.

Christopher, My sister (an Organic Fanatic Ex-Vegan) who has a ranch in South Texas, Uses this stuff to make Tabooli, just a Tex-Mex Version without the mint and basil But with Jalepenos, Chilies and Cumin instead. It's darn tasty!!! I didn't know, but suspected, it must be 'Very Good For You.' She's a Major Nutrition Geek. I'll have to ask where she buys hers.... I think it's just from a grocery store, not the web. Best Wishes- Dx

Christopher, Been using these products many years being allergic to rice I tried the couscous and love it...Then I gave up carbs but miss my pasta so I had to find Gluten Free pasta, well gluten free everything as much as possible, its a real feat but their pasta is very tasty and texture is very nice.

Cool, thanks. Where do you purchase it? Or just buy it on the web?
