prayer request and some updates!!
I'm having surgery on monday morning. i decided to have my tubes tied and that's the date i finally got. it's not a big deal but i always like to request prayers when i'm going to be under anesthesia. so thanks in advance for that! i am going to try the slim fast diet next week since i won't be able to work out. it's the 2 shakes a day plus one sensible meal and 2 healthy snacks. sounds pretty easy and since i won't be working out i can afford to eat less calories and try to drop these 10 pounds that are being stubborn!!
and i know some of you were following the story of my friend who's 3 year old son has cancer. we had a benefit for him the other day and it was a dud. hardly anyone showed and they didn't raise much money for their huge medical bills. the good news though is that aidan is finally in remission!! it's been a long trying road for them and i want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for aidan and the drew family. there is a medical fund set up in his name if anyone would like to help. just throwing that out for you all.
my liver enzyme levels are still dropping so that's very good news!! i've been very busy working my part time at home job and it's coming in very handy with the holidays and i'll actually be able to get caught up on all my bills finally!! hubby just got hired on at the place he's been temping at for 3 months. woo hoo....insurance for him coming soon!! FINALLY!!
that's about all for me...i hope you all are doing well also!!

Sending prayers and good thoughts you way Steph. Good to hear Aidan is in remission.
As for the Slimfast, just wanted to let you know the LoCarb is excellent and provides ample protein. You didn't post which you are going to do and many don't know this one exists. The LoCarb is the one I used before and after surgery and still do at least one a day with extra protein mixed in giving me 40 grams a drink.
