First suggestion is to post this on the exercise and fitness forum. Walking is a great exercise as you can go as fast or as slow as you need to. Secondly, I am wondering if you have followed up with your surgeon to see why you are still in so much pain? Thirdly, I hope it gets better for you. I cant help much... but heres a hug ((( hug))) Karen

I agree with Karen,I would call your surgeon.Dont know how far you are out but before you attempt to exercise.see your doctor

If you are having pain, especially back pain, do not begin a rew exercise program until you have seen your dr for approval. If you are having back problems, maybe ask the dr for a referral to physicl therapy, and they can help you get started on exercises that will not hurt you.

I am just under a year out from my TT, and I still have pain. My muscle tightening was too tight IMO. I have trouble stading up straight, and in turn have back and hip problems now. I get muscle cramps if I even try to do any abs. Pilates and Yoga are out of the question. I do everything else though. I have gotten used to the pain and deal the best I can. There is nothing they can short of surgery again. I am not up for that. I hope it just loosens one day soon. I am the treadmill queen. I have an Ipod, good shoes, and very strong legs. I use it about 4 days a week. I alternate between running and walking. I love it. I would certainly check to see if the doctor says it is ok. Sometimes we just have pain we have to deal with. If doc says ok, I would.
