I am now one year out (as of the 15th) and am down 184 pounds. I still have about 45 pounds to go to reach my goal, but that is achievable. The biggest difference the surgery has made is the effectiveness of my efforts. For the first time in years, I feel like what I do really does make a difference--and that I have some control in this situation. I may not be able to directly control what I lose one week or the other, but I can control what I eat (instead of being insatiable) and that it isn't impossible to reach my goal. I look forward to getting to goal even if it is much slower now. Sally

Hello Sally I want to welcome you to the board as well and that is a great loss. I have lost 121 in 18 months and I am very happy i would love to lose about 21 more pounds but I think I am done i have been here at this weight since dec of last year not good for me I guess I am done. Jus****ch your self I find myself eating the wrong things again and I have got to get back on track. I never had a great track anyway my dr was great but the follow up i got messed up on and I guess that is my fault. It was a big mix up but i still lost and im still doing well. Try not to grase I find myself eating and im not even hungry its just bad of me. You take care an keepup the good work I dont post much but i do read every day . TAmmy
