Update on Butterfly Reborn

I spoke to Vanessa last night and again this morning. I am really concerned about her and ask all of you to please keep her in your prayers. Her red blood count has continued to drop, as of last night it was (if I recall correctly) 22 with the normal range being 30-something to 45 and she needed a blood transfusion. She called me this morning, had the transfusion and was still feeling pretty bad. They had taken her blood this morning and were waiting to see what the red blood count was. She had to call the nurses in her room this morning, she had her first BM since surgery on Sunday and there was fresh blood, so she is bleeding internally somewhere. As soon as I find out something else I'll let you guys and gals know, please keep V in your prayers. Thanks, Dana

She is in my prayers, I have been where she is, I ended up in ICU and needed 4 blood transfusions. She may need another surgery, that I what I had to have, but sometimes the bleeding stops on its own, that is probably why they are waiting and doing blood test. I had a GI bleed, that is what they called it! I wish her a speedy recovery! Hazel
