Surgery update on me.........

Hello everyone! I had to have my pre-op and consents all done this morning prior to the surgery. It's been a long day. It hurts! Diagnosis: Adhesion/scar tissue had wrapped itself around my colon causing partial bowel obstruction (not sure if it was only in one place or more as the CT Scan had shown three suspicious areas). Dr. Lavin also did another endoscope while I was under anesthesia. I have no specific information on that yet so I'll assume no report is a good report! Anyway, the good news is that I didn't need a section removed and reattached which would have been a much more difficult surgery and required 2-3 days inpatient. Prognosis: Very good. Thank you all for everything! Please do not take offense to my copy and paste or duplicate messages. I have nodded off here 5 or more times sitting straight up with the computer on my lap and it has now taken me nearly 2 hours to compose this so I don't think I'll make it through individual posts/e-mails! Vanessa, I am so glad you don't have to have the other surgery that is a blessing. I know it is hard posting so please don't feel like you have to respond. Just take care of yourself and I am thinking and praying for you and a speedy recovery! Kellie
