Leaving the boards. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Wow this is going to be hard!!! You all have been my family for several years and I KNOW I would not be where I am today without each and everyone of you!!!! I take pride in giving back, I live for it and had hoped I could find a job where I could help those of us that are going through the journey, but it was not to be...... I have let each and everyone of you down as I have not been keeping my profile up to date and my PS pics. The reason my friends is right now my life is falling apart and I just can't give my time here as I want to. The list is long and I won't get into it but the last straw was my husband lost his job (he loses jobs like we change undies) and there goes the insurance that was paying for my PS. It was a miracle they paid what they did and I am thankful. I was to have my last surgery this Dec 5th. I now need to find a job ASAP so we won't lose our home. The irony of it was we just refinanced at a much higher rate (I didn't want to) so the payments will be hard to meet. But that is neither here nor there and not your problem. If you are pre-op and or newbies, please take to heart my last words of wisdom.......DO NOT CHEAT!!!! Follow the rules for eating, and you will loose. Moving/Exercising is the key to getting it off and keeping it off !!!! Start early and you will be glad you do. You are sooooo special and you DESERVE this!!! Do ya hear me? You are worth it my friends!!! You deserve the BEST LIFE has to offer! if you are post op and have lost your weight, you guys ROCK!!! You have kept me on my toes and inspired me to be the best I can be. If you are having a hard time with some pounds coming back, MOVE TO LOOSE I had to say that one more time. I love you all so very much and once I find a way out of this nightmare called my life, I will be back, I need all of you in my life.. YES, we are a disfunctional family at times LOL . And some have tempers tantrums, but this disfunctional family is my disfuntional family and I love each and everyone of you!!! Take care, Kathy 330/120

Kathy - you have been an inspiration to me and others on the board. There are alot of powerful people on the boards so keep in touch. Not only for support but for assistance (jobs). I can only wait for your return and your beautiful smile coming back to tell us that all has been made well in your life and that you are happy! Kathy , You dont even know me .. But you have been an inspiration to me too .. I am so sorry youre having these hard times ...but I am so glad you are fit and healthy and stronger going through it . Just imagine going through struggles of any kind while MO on top of everything else .. You are STRONG and FIT and you will come through this Kathy . Your friends ( yes even the ones like me ) that you never knew will be right here waiting for your return .. you will be in my prayers , Hugs , Ruthie

Kathy, I'm so very sorry that you are struggling and being challenged. For me, I know that life seems to be a constant battle to stay afloat. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Incidentally, why can you not elect to go "COBRA" on your husbands plan for a few months. Even if it means you have to pay for November-January, you will still be covered for your PS and even a couple of thousand dollars if were that high is much cheaper than paying for your PS out of pocket later! Also, signing on with COBRA give you a better change of not having a long enough lapse in coverage so that at your next insurance opportunity, you will not be subjected to "pre-existing" conditions. Hi Kathy, I am one of the newbies in here but wanted to let you know that as you exit, I saw your name here and went to your profile and found myself laughing/crying/and feeling such great joy for you. I'm so sorry that we did not get acquainted but wanted to let you know just how much your profile and really great tips helped to inspire me. You are a "REAL" person that I feel is a RARE FIND. God Bless you and thank you for being so open in your profile. I was about ready to cancel the whole thing because I was so afraid of a complication but your story has truly inspired me. Today, after reading your profile, I am happy that I am well on my way through the insurance requirements, I'm guessing surgery will be early January 2007 for me. I also saw your post about those beautiful bracelets you make. Once I get through all this, would it be possible for me to contact you for one? I would like to get my WLS charm first.
