Introduce myself

Hello everyone. My name is Cathy. I had surgery on 12/26/2002. I am almost 4 years out. I have lost 165 lbs and am maintaining while playing with 5 lbs. (I don't want to play it just happens) I was a member here before surgery and havent been here in along time. This surgery definately saved my life. I have had some heart problems since surgery and my doctors believe I would not have made it without having the extra weight off. I'm off to read. I hope to get to know everyone. Cathy

Cathy, welcome back~~sounds like you have been so successful!! I am sure you have been busy with your life!! It's nice to know your doing so good. Hope things get better with your heart,,they have come a long way with heart conditions...Please keep us posted and keep up the good work!!~~!!

Hi Cathy , Welcome back .. It is so great to see someone as far out as you doing so well .. For me this surgery saved my life too and I would do it everyday and 2 x on Sunday .. Again .. Welcome back and keep posting ! Natalie

Hi Cathy! Welcome! We're glad you're back! You can include me with that dreaded 5 lbs. Only in my case, I let it go to 15! Yikes! The good news is that 6 is gone and I'm working very hard on the last 9. See ya on the boards! Lyn

Hi Cathy, welcome back. It's great seeing someone almost 4 years out still maintaining. My limit is 5 lbs too, which I hit last week, I'm back down a little, I remind myself daily that this is a lifetime commitment and I never want to go back. Dana

Hi Cathy....Im glad to meet ya and I know what ya mean...I play with a few pounds myself. I do feel so much better since surgery and would do it again in a heart beat. Nice to meet ya and I am looking forward to seeing ya around.
