How much more weight did you lose?
I had surgery for WLS on 12/06/04. I weighed 330 lbs. I now weigh 173 and recently had 12 lbs of skin removed with PS. I consistently had weight loss throughout my journey, sure I had some stalls, but inches melted off then. I hope to hit 160lbs, but if not that is fine by me. I feel so much better and I am healthier. I can walk without a cane, no longer needing asthma medicines, my labs are excellent, my BS controlled, lower and normal lipids, I can wipe my A$$ without contorting into strange twisting positions, make love with joy, wear clothes that don't cost a fortune, in essence I am living my life, not jus****ching go by. Hurrah Hurrah.
Congradulations on your wonderful weight loss and happy rebirthday!

I had lost down to my surgeons goal of 140 ( a loss of 110 pounds) during my first year. I continued to lose another 20 pounds in the next year. I got down to 112 popunds ( too thin) and have regained 12 pounds. I am now maintaining at 124-127 most days. I am a little over 3 years post op.

My BMI was 51 at the time of surgery. I lost 101lbs from surgery to my first anniversary which was Sept 15th. Since then I've lost another 5-6 lbs.
And the honeymoon period is 18-24 months. You still have *plenty* of time......but don't worry - even after the honeymoon is over, you can still lose additional weight if needed - you just don't get the added boost you did in the first year.
