100+ photos from Lexington - Enjoy!
Hello friends,
Just a QUICK update from me - no seriously, even Lei can be quick and to da' point, although those that have met me in person will completely disagree. Once again, I managed to enjoy my weekend with others to the extreme of losing my voice. Yes, it's true - I never shut up!
Had a FANTASTIC TIME in Lexington - took a gazillion photos (about 150) and narrowed it down to about 100 to share. Met some of the greatest people and can't say enough positive about attending this type of a gathering. It truly has enough 'positives' to draw ALL, regardless of the stages of your journey - even us "old timers".
The only "break out session" I attended was the one for the MEN! 
...yah, you heard me right, a few of us ladies crashed, er, were invited to attend the men's session on the last day. [NOT because the others weren't equally as valuable, but I was on a mission to collect info for a very dear male friend of mine] This session was orchestrated by DEX and was absolutely OFF THE CHARTS! This man understood what it was like to not only data dump information but to include HUMOR through-out the session so as to avoid the "glazed over look" with the attendees. I really (REALLY) enjoyed his class and highly recommend that ALL (men and women alike) view the video that was taken, when it's available.
I don't dare start naming names - there were too many WONDERFUL people at this event and it' safe to say, I will forget a few. Suffice it to say, meeting each of you, the hugs, laughter, and conversation was something I will forever cherish.

I was able to include NAMES with most, if not all, so that you can match the face to their profiles/posts. If I've renamed any one in error, please let me know. So many of YOU and only one brain cell in this blonde head, ya know?
Special thanks to the guys from the MEN's BOARD - our group had the best time hanging out with ya'll this weekend and can't wait to see you again in Virginia for the January conference. For ALL that are interested (guys and gals) please stay in touch via the Grads board the Virginia board, email, pr phone (did I cover it all?) .... as more information surfaces on the conference here in Virginnie'aye!

I'm already going thru major league hug withdrawal It was so great to meet you that I'm thinking of crashing your VA get-together -- even if it IS in the middle of the winter! One way or another, there will be many more good party times for us all; I can just FEEL it ... but I won't wear 4 inch heels so I can follow you anywhere!
No **** ... The trip was worth it in EVERY way.

NO one has perfected the hug, like YOU have. WOW - the warmth and love that just flowed from your arms and around me with each meeting, was very very special. lol, I used to think I was the queen of touchy-feely, you put me to shame.
Please please please, seriously consider the January event. It would absolutey make my entire weekend to be able to see you again and this time, spend some ONE on ONE time together - it seemed like every time we met, someone was pulling you away, or pulling me away, good thing we got a few of those full body hugs out of the way, huh?
You're an INCREDIBLE woman , with a warm, loving, caring spirit about you. You make anyone you're near, feel very special ....and I thank you for that.

btw - I wore my dazzle/flashy ball ALL day on Saturday (even have a few pictures where you can see it tied around my belt loop) ...also wore it the entire drive home. Every time I look at it, it brings a big smile to my face because it reminds me of YOU!

I've already been scouting cheap airfares so that I can attend the January Richmond meeting, and I found one to Norfolk!!!
What a special soul you are... unique in the most positive ways. Your shots captured the energy and community that we built last weekend.

You better not be yankin' my chain here, mister - you know how obnoxious, er, I mean, persistant I can be and if you tell me you're checking on flights, I'll ride your butt about it till you book 'em.
Although Richmond is obviously the better airport to fly into (it's 10 minutes from the hotel that the event is at) ...IF you fly into Norfolk, that puts you about 20 minutes from me - we can have dinner at the Pub in Yorktown that you mentioned in one of your posts? Unfortunately, my hubby will still be out on deployment, but there are several of us from VaBeach that are planning on attending - including my red headed twin (Wendy G.) ...heck, she makes me look shy and QUIET, if that tells you anything?
Can't wait to see you again, and of course, to meet your other half, if she'll be coming too. lol, don't panic, I'll be on my best-est behaviour, honest! [fingers crossed]
