People, I had a fabulous time! I Met fantastic people. Made beautiful friends and will never look at a bucket of chicken again without thinking of Dave from the Men's board (Col. Sanders). My pics are up on my profile/photos. I'll write up an event report for my blog later. I'm too tired, Delta lost my luggage and I got a headache from getting up too early (I forgot to set my clock back, duh!). Jane

Hi Jane! It was wonderful meeting you! I had a blast also.. been home about an hour.. the few pic's I took I'll get up tomorrow..I didn't take that many.. think I got more of the inside of my bag with the el' cheapo cam.. glad I had my old digital to get a few pic's anyways. Hey Jane M!! So Great to meet all of you!! So Many OH Folks all in one spot! I even got to hug Delores (But missed her at the Dance!) That Dave (Col. Sanders) is the one responsible for getting me to come in the first place. I may have to put him on my Fruit Basket List for Christmas! Some one asked "How was diner at the hotel restaurant?" I agree, the dinner was bad but the people were awesome! I read your DX files on the way home and for someone who thought they knew it all, you taught me a new thing or two! Very informative, I plan on passing it on to some Male WLS patients that I know. I hope you can come to the Richmond conference in January. There will be alot more men around then there was in Lexington. You guys won't be outnumbered 50 to 1. Hugs, Jane

That hug was awesome and it was such a pleasure meeting you. I am so sorry I missed the dance you and I were going to have. Life kinda got in the way. At the very last minute, I decided I shouldn't go due to my DIL passing only two weeks ago and the most horrible torential rains here at my house. I have about a fifty mile drive and hubby was concerned about me being out so late. he knew Lei, Charlie, Dana and I had plans for after the party. Glad you made it home safe.

How in God's name did we miss each other, D??? I'm so bummed! When I didn't see you I figured you probably weren't able to come at all ... not that I just wasn't in the right place at the right time ...

Remarkable lady: It was great to meet you. We didn't get to talk much. I share many of your political views and look forward to an in-person discussion. Since I'll be retired within a few months, I'm going to see about attending the Richmond meeting. By the way, I was struck by your great looks: I can only imagine the "you" in a few short weeks.
