Thursday: Check-In: What Are You Eating?
Me?
Pre-B: Protein shake (my usual)
Cup o' joe w/ creamer, minimoos, sweet n' low
B: Deli ham and a piece of cheese, 1/3 apple
L: 3/4 of a chicken breast, 1/4 to 1/2 cup green beans, few cucumber slices w/ jalapeno ranch dressing
S: A few bites of things at Cost****heese, pork carnitas)
S2:2 SF chocolates, Protein shake
D: Salmon w/ basil butter, sweet potato w/ butter
S: Protein shake, 2 SF chocolates
No exercise. Vitamins - yup. Water... um, 52 oz thus far, I think.
What are you trying to get things going here or what?
Breakfast--coffee w scoop of protein and a yogurt
couple pieces of cheese
Lunch-salad
snack-2 s/f pops and fudgecicle yummy blue bunny healthy smart-5o calories
Dinner-meatloaf-w one spoonful mashed potatoes
100 calorie oreo thin crisp pack
coffee
all my vitamins and not enough protein--have more on order
Lots of water but not nearly enough considering I was out golfing in the heat--and today it was really hot!
I so suck at this eating thing still.. not food choices, but just the eating thing.
B- protein delight with 10 oz's of milke [alpine chocolate warmed]
S- 4 crackers w/butter
L- 4 oz's sesame chicken.. yeah I know the gravy part is bad for me. BUT I ate.
S- nada
D-hamburg
S- prolly not gotta get my fluid in. Can't drink my water if my pouch is full.
water consumptions been low today also. I'm DRINKING still, I don't put that down till I fall asleep at night. I seen my PCP today again, my back went out last night.. I also have a "knot" in my insicission area and it makes me feel full fast when I eat or drink. Doc don't think it's a hernia, but somethings going on in there.. I will have my surgeon check it out next week in Lexington.
Vit's yup.. exercise - yup. That part I'm ok with.
Hey Kathy, confession time here, I have had some bad days lately, not enough protein, too many carbs, ugghhh I need to get a handle on this again, I feel like I'm drowning.
Breakfast: breakfast bar
Snack: Cheese Stick
Lunch: 4 oz homemade chili w/kidney beans
Snack: Sam's Choice Trail Mix and popcorn - I went carb crazy
Dinner: ham and cheese rollup
Snack: 6 corn chips w/french onion dip
I have got to get back into my routine of using protein shakes, my hair is falling out again (not a whole lot but I definitely see some loss daily).
No exercise, lots of water & crystal light and all of my vitamins.

Thanks Kathy ... I'm trying to come to terms with not having an appetite and being a bit restrictive with my food. This has been going on for a while, and although I "know" better, can't seem to get out of this (I have been working with my nut and therapist). It doesn't help that I get pains when I eat solid foods, and what feels best in my tummy are warm liquids (soups, coffee). I do have a few cases of protein shakes, but they've been sitting in the box by the front door since the day I got them, or I'll go to the fridge, open it, and a voice says "nope, we're not doing that", so I close the fridge and leave the room.
My nut and I have been focusing on just breakfast for now, and for the past week (with the exception of today [so far], yesterday, and Wednesday), the five days prior to that I did pretty good with a good breakfast, and then a cheese stick mid-morning, so I think I am making some strides?
This is very frustrating, cause like I said, I KNOW better ...
