I was looking on line today and found these calulators . http://nutrition.about.com/library/bl_nutrition_guide.htm This one above .. gives you a calculator on how many carbs and calories to go by for maintaining and loosing weight . http://nutrition.about.com/library/blwatercalculator.htm This one above - deals with how much water you should drink a day . I was looking for info on carbs - and gycemic index and ran across it . I found the entire site very helpful . Hope you do to . Natalie 325 lbs\ At Goal 125 and holding on tight !

That's VERY cool! I know that years ago when I did a medical fast, I was tracking everything I drank, and figured out that I felt best when I had 117oz of fluid a day - *way* more than the 64 oz you so often hear about. I just put in my weight of that time & answered the questions the way I was back then, and it said I should have 121 oz! Almost the exact same amount! At my current weight & activity level it says 83 oz, and right now I try to get in 90 so it looks like I'm on track. --BT

very interesting ... thanks Natalie! My nutritionist actually had me do a metobolic rate assessment which came back with results showing me that based on my metabolism, how many calories I need to maintain my current weight, and how many I need to lose ... very interesting too. Karyn
