sharp burning pain right side

I woke up last night with a burning very sharp pain in my right side right under the rib cage. When I repositioned it almost all went away. Got it again today when I tried to take a nap. It is very sensitive for a long time after the burning goes away. I'm 3 1/2 years post op from open RNY. Any ideas? Not sure if I should see my PCP or Sugeron. I can't tell for sure if there is a 'lump' or something there it's too far over for me to feel successfully. I can't feel that far over on my side that well but I it seems to feel 'stiff' or a little hard there. Leasion(sp)? And things seem to be 'moving' along fine so I dont' think it's blockage from too much cheese or something like that.

I think I would begin with my PCP...just dont put it off..It could be something serious. I hope you feel better..>Soon.

How far right? Right like all the way on your side or just right of the sternum? Do you have a gall bladder? Nowhere Man/Jay
