I just found this board....Had my surgiversary on Sept. 28. One year and feeling great ! I have found that I have arthritis in my hips but oh well , another bump in the road of life...At least now that I have had this surgery and lost 90 some pounds since surgery (321 pre op )I am not in a wheel chair because of it. I am more active than I have ever been . I can almost...keep up with my 18mo grandson.. I started out at 334 highest and the scale today said 226 Even though during the day I know it will go up a pound I am happy. Last time I weighed this was back in the 70's I know I am going to have to work harder now but that's ok with me. The biggest obsticle for me was getting off my butt and working up the nerve to start this journey... Nice to meet everybody Sandy
