PLASTIC SURGERY APPROVED BY BC!!!

I am in total shock! My insurance, Blue Cross, approved my tummy tuck! "Medically Necessary" THose tow words are SO beautiful! Yeaaaaaaa! I'm stil concerned about the stricture and dilation...but this bit of good news has really lifted my spirits! I was so certain that i owuld be denied that I didn't call to check the status of the request and when the insurance letter came, I tossed it on the table and didn't get around to opening it until last night! lol Now to set a date! I should be down another 15-20 pounds after the surgery....not just having a tummy tuck but a lower body lift. Insucance will pay about $3,500-5,000 of it! Yeaaaaaaa!!!

I also have BCBS. I have not started the process of trying to get the TT approved yet, but was wondering what deemed your situation medically necessary just so I'll know whenever I start working on it?
