Do I qualify as an old azz? Been on the boards just about 2 years posting. Hubby is just over 2 years post-op and I'm approaching 17 months post-op. I'll be in Lexington but only Thursday evening and all day Friday. Kathy

I weazled the days off work and will be driving up Thursday night, and heading home Saturday after the conference. I am really bad with large crowds and not knowing anyone, but am at a point where I could use the wealth of knowledge and support and to be around people that might "get" some of my issues. I am coming alone and hoping the oldies will let me hang with them. I'm booking a room for Thursday and Friday, I don't mind a room mate if someone is interested in sharing the costs.... Michelle

Michelle, it is going to be so worth it and YES the oldies will let ya hang with them, or I'll thump em well not really, but everyone is so like family at these events, have no worries. i am coming to the ball on friday night. I can drive in earlier if anyone wants to have dinner earlier. there is a break between 5-7 for dinner before the ball.
