i wish i knew why the weight shifts but i guess that's probably normal for anyone. my former boss had the surgery 3+ years ago and she said that after the first year you'll see all kinds of changes in your body....whether you lose, gain, or maintain. which i have seen a difference in the boob area...they're coming up and they don't look like tube socks with an 8 ball in the end...that's what my husband said they looked like! !

That is too funny. Tube socks with an 8 ball in the end. My friend used to say she went from a D to a D Long. Melissa

LOL, that's funny! I've noticed mine aren't as bad anymore either, but I thought maybe it was just due to PMS, LOL! Maybe there is hope still! I consider having a breast lift/implants almost every day, but I hate surgery and don't really want to go thru another one. Who knows, maybe someday I'll get the nerve to do it! Tracy

this is what i've been doing...... #1 - Do this for 10 days #2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day #4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened (?) peanut butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free jello broths/bullion (sp?) crystal light drinks #5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!! #6 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily

This one is good. I started on it and lost 3.5 in a week as I also increased my exercise. So, I know it works.

nope no fruits or veggies...it's hard for me to stay away from my bananas but i have noticed that i haven't had any low blood sugar episodes either since doing this diet. i'm going to continue with this plan it's been 10 days and i've lost 5 pounds and then it stopped but my clothes feel better and my belly isn't so bloated anymore from all the carbs. i do allow myself to "splurge" a little on saturday when i'm out with my mom but that's still not much. a taste of bread or a piece of chocolate. i hope it works for you.

Thank you Stephanie. This is really a lot like Atkins, which I did way before WLS, for about a month. It was best when the carbs were really low, as this would be, although Atkins does allow 3 cups of salad greens per day. I lost about 18 pounds in no time when I tried it. I got sidetracked when I started adding back the carbs. But boy, it's hard to give them up, isn't it? Thanks, again, and continued best wishes. Carlita
