Have you had an endoscopy to see if your pouch is intact and that all is fine in there? What does your doctor say? Have you been to your follow-ups? Have you had lab work done? Do you take your vitamins regularly? You might want to post what a sample day eating is like for you. Perhaps folks can provide some assistance. Good luck, Kathy

I have not had a endoscopy, but I have had my yearly followup in Dec and will have just a regular check-up next week and I do take my vitamins daily. I have not really been able to eat and when I eat it's one meal.

Hi Dirrick, I'm confused. You say you can't eat? Or don't want to eat? And you're eating only one meal a day? That can't be good. Please go to your surgeon's office and get checked. If you're only eating one meal a day, you're probably malnourished. By that I mean your body is using its own muscle mass for nutrition. Scary! Please get checked out. Hugs, Connie

You are correct because I have no energy at all. I am going to see the surgeon on tomorrow. This morning I have had a Banana, orange and a cup of coffee. Normally I could at least eat a sandwich. But I was feeling like I was eating too much so I cut back but now it's like I don't want to eat. I talked to the nurse yesterday and will go in tomorrow. And it just may be that I had my surgery 21 months ago and hear lately I have been hearing of all of these deaths. But I know who has all power in his HANDS!!!

I"m really glad you're going to the doc. If you can eat anything at all, you need to try to get in some kind of protein---meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, lowfat cheese, etc. We've had our insides rearranged, it's up to us to make sure we get our vitamins, minerals, protein, fluids, etc, or we will indeed get sick. Good luck with the doc. Keep us posted. Connie
