gained weight
I gained weight after being on Paxil and then my husband died, it happens. It's sounds like stress eatnig to me. I started doing Yoga a montha go and now have lost 5 of the 15 I gained back. I also went back to eating 80-100 grams a protein a day, and getting 100 ounces a water. I feel beter and the weight is coming off. I drink alot of green tea and get a minimum of 8 hours of sleep a night.
Try getting back to the way you used to eat. Make a plan, write it down and stick it on your fridge. I keep a fat picture of me in my wallet and on my computer desk to remind me why I had surgery to begin with. It gives me dose of reality.
I like yoga for not only the exercise but because of the stress relieving that it gives me. I eat when I'm stressed out. give it a whirl or try doing something active that gives you enjoyment as well. Exercise doesn't have to be a chore. Biking is another favorite of mine. I can get out and see stuff instead of sitting on an exercise bike in a gym thinking about when I can get off the thing or whether someone is looking at my big squishy booty.

I too am having problems with emotional eating. I was at or even below my goal weight, after having surg. 2 yrs ago. Now I have gained 20lbs back and seem to be somewhat out of control, craving things I haven't eaten in 2+ yrs. I excersize a lot, but have even lost interest in that over the last 2 wks. It's my b-day today, and vow to get back on track today!! Good luck to you, and to me too
