Hey Bella, I am right there with ya.....it seems all my weight....extra skin and all....and settled into the caboose and abdominal region. I've attributed it to being a medical transcriptionist and sitting for so many hours a day. I don't know if I'll ever been able to afford plastic surgery....sure wish I could. Nonetheless, I still am much more happier than I was almost four years ago......big butt and all Hugs, Teresa

Shoot, you don't have to be 50. LOL. I am 33 and my body has changed over the last 3 or 4 months or so. I exercise a good bit too with weights and cardio. But, since I had my plastic surgery in January 2006 my excess areas have changed or shifted. My weight is the same but I swear my butt is bigger. It is like I got extra moved from my tummy and breasts and so all the fat cells decided to settle in my rear. But, oh well. I will just claim to have a J Lo just a little way low. LOL. Melissa

Yep, Fat seems to like to shift around. I'm 34, so it's not age. I have aworse stomach roll and cottage cheese thighs then I did a year after surgeyr. It freakin' stinks! As long as it desn't shift too much after my TT and BL, I don't care right now. Ready to have all this skin removed. The more the better. I also notice my skin on my face is starting to sag. That's age though. Jane

JoAnn, glad you posted this. I'm not gaining weight either but lately my body has shifted too and I'm hating it. My spare tire is getting worse, I can't stand the roll over my waist band, wonder what's up with this, seems to be many of us experiencing this. Sorry no help, know you aren't alone though. Dana

Ok, I have read where alot of wls patients have this happen at some point. My question is why does it happen? I find if I eat bad carbs my belly will look bigger the next day, but then it will go back down if I get back on the right track. Ahhh, so many things to worry about!!!!! Thanks in advance for any advice! Tracy B 328/150 5'9"

I'm 51. I noticed this happening last spring. My hips and legs are a size 16 but my waist is a size 20. All the handfulls of flapping skin from above the waist have settled there, and I have another huge roll on the lower abdomen, too. I need to get to my goal weight (and finish paying off my car) before I can start the plastic surgery track. sue O.
