OT: I need your brains and creativity
I wanna come up with a cool Halloween costume. We are trying to get folks at work to dress up and we'll do a chili and grilled cheese sandwich event. I'll make chili since I will eat that.
I think that Pam Porter had some cool ideas on her profile from past Halloweens. One was Audrey Hepburn Breakfast at Tiffanys and one was Tippi Hedren from The Birds. Those are cool ideas.
I really don't want a typical pirate wench, princess bride, batgirl type of thing. I want something clever. Something like a goth Breakfast at Tiffanys. Something fun.
Any suggestions... got 5 weeks to plan and create.
Thanks!
Kathy
My husband and I got married on October 30th. I suggested we were our wedding attire for Halloween. I figured we'd only wear them once -- this way - we'd wear them twice!!!! We kept getting comments all night such as, "WOW! You two look SO authentic!" LOL I even had my flowers (which I didn't throw because we had a small reception at church with treats and coffee -- not all the bride and grown dance, blah blah blah. I did Monday bring it to the ONLY girl that asked about the tossing of the bouquet. She was about 12. Her father was a huge part of our ceremonly as he led the band, played the guitar, and sang "our song" to us. OK TMI!!!
Where am I going with this?
Were you thinner when you married so that perhaps your dress fits you now? Or could you satisfy some "I want to most beautiful dress in the world!" that you may find at a thrift store? A tux can be found there too or rented for a very reasonable price for the weekend. The Groom and Bride would make for lovely pictures of the two of you since your WLSs as well.
*shrug* I'm typically bad at this type of creativity. There are so many choices!
At any rate, it sounds like you'll have a grand time and that is what truly matters!!!
BTW, how is your upper right quadrant pain? Has it ever been resolved?
Hugs,
Vanessa
