**Importance of Vitamins**
Kathy ,
You would be suprised at the new patients that I talk to that totally think this is all to be laid to the side . I have heard some say that they eat enough food to get the nutriants .. I tell them over and over that there bodies are no longer made up to absorb like a normal digestion .. I wonder if the surgeons and the nurses are truly getting this point accross .
What really gets me ever more is those that tell me over and over again that they can not stand protein drinks or bars .. and still do not get enough in their diet ... I for one had to sign papers when I had my surgery saying that I would head my surgeons instructions for life .. I think it worked for me as I knew how serious he was about this for me . I tell people all the time .. you must get in your protein or else .. and to keep trying till you get it right ..
Here is my daily dosies :
1 Prenatal Vitamin
1 A * D
1 BComplex
1 B12 Sublingual
1 Hair Skin and Nails ( Zinc - Mag and other goodies )
1 Omega 3 6 9
And I do it all again before bed .
It is not really hard at all . And before surgery .. I would gladly do this than the insulin and other diabetes meds I was on .. I hate needles!!!
Hugs and thanks for posting this.
