wednesday check in...
Funny, I've never gotten into any of the soft type calories since surgery. Never did the yogurt, smoothie, pudding, etc type stuff. I guess you can say I'm dense... okay, my diet is dense. LOL!
I definitely eat cheese (my fav food group). Today for a snack, I have cucumber slices along with some salad dressing (canola oil based - so healthy fats). I sometimes do nuts though I buy them at Costco in the portioned sizes and grab 1 oz which is plenty.
I do not do protein bars but I do have shakes. I dumped on Power Crunch and the other ones have too much sugar alcohols for me... I'd have pain and gas for hours from 'em.

i dumped on the power crunch bars too. i do get gas a lot from the sugar alcohols also but it seems like it's not as bad lately since i upped my walking. weird huh? i wish i never would have gotten into the smoothies and all that stuff too but i'm trying to stop them now. i guess i need to stock up on the cheese and veggies and stuff like that and nuts. i like nuts...hee hee!!

Hey Tracy...it's ok! You still check in eventually...i won't cry just because you don't care enough to take the time to check in at night. ONLY KIDDING! i usually post then i'm off and on the rest of the night. in between our tv shows. it's getting to be that season and all the good stuff is back on tv. banana muffins sound good too...but i'm still trying to be a good girl.
I just ordered 2 more Leslie Sansone videos....a yoga dvd and walk & kick (2 mile). i'm excited...i can't wait to get them and add them to my collection. i got them cheap on ebay. i've been trying to find the 5 mile on ebay and amazon but no luck! i just can't afford to pay the price she's asking on her website. but i want the 5 mile soooo bad!! for now i have to do the 4 mile super challenge then toss in the 1 mile express right after. i just keep moving while the disc gets going. it kinda sucks!! man i never realized how great that stretchie can work. my arms look better already...hubby even noticed!! and the leg muscles from all the walking...wow. i'm even impressed with myself. just a little shameless boasting!

It's those crackers and cheese that call me at night, that do me in. Those darn crackers, even a few always puts weight on me by the next morning. Otherwise a good day.
hey linda! your salad does sound yummy!! i'm always afraid to try new things like that but it sounds really good. i found a recipe for a chicken salad that has apples and nuts in it. i want to try it but i'm always a big chicken on new stuff. i need to venture out more and try that stuff.
you had a great day though...freakin' crackers are evil but they are good!!
