trying to up my calories and see if that's the problem with my stall...

Ok, I am here.....I take it you guys are posting what you eat.... so here goes.
I am trying to back off the carbs and up the exercise.
Breakfast - Oatmeal with Whey Vanilla Protein
Snack - Apple with peanut butter
Lunch - Protein Fruit smoothie
Snack - devil egg
Dinner - Turkey sausage, veggie pizza

Hey kathy...yep you're right we post what we ate and if we exercised for the day. we're trying to keep each other motivated to stay away from the carbs..we encourage but also give a little kick in the behind if we are bad. and we all dread the nightly check in when we've been bad and that helps us (most of the time)to stay away from those carbs! i'm so glad you're here with us.
i got some great advice about better snacks to eat and stuff so i'm gonna get right on that!

Breakfast: decaf coffee w/splenda and non-dairy creamer
Snack: small plum
Lunch: 1/3 wheat tortilla, 1/3 cup chicken salad
Snack: Kashi Bar, cheese stick, granola
Dinner: jalapenos stuffed with crab meat (ok I'm done with the leftovers, lol), a couple bites of bread with peanut butter and syrup
I was making my baby a PB sandwich and he doesn't eat the crust so I grapped a couple bites, ugghh.
It wasn't a bad day but I was so proud of myself for doing so well with no sugar and I had to taste the PB & syrup *darn*.

hey there miss dana...mmmm..peanut butter and syrup. i love that combo! a couple bites is all huh? well don't beat yourself up over it...it's ok. we're human right?
i asked mariella for some advice on my food and exercise and she is awesome! she gave me better ideas for snacks and what to cut out of my diet. like the smoothies and pudding. they're out of here as of tonight! i getting rid of the stuff!! she told me to try not to eat so much of the protein bars as well. i still have to email her back on the nutritional info on the bars i eat though. she's done so well for herself i felt she was the perfect person to ask for advice and i was right...she's awesome! i know this is all stuff i should know but sometimes you think something is good for you but you're wrong...she's put some good ideas in my head so i just need to work on my grocery list and get that stuff in my pantry and fridge!! that's what makes this website so great...all the great people i've met! this means you and everyone else who's here with us trying to make this journey together. wow...that was a long response! ok...that's all for me....
Hey girl, share those ideas you got from Mariella. I'm getting bored with food lately and think that's one of the reasons I'm "cheating" or not making as good of choices.
I did brown a beef roast tonight and put in in the crock pot with onions, bell pepper, potatoes and carrots for tomorrow night.
I need snack ideas that are filling but low calorie/low carb. I can't do beef jerkey it's just too tough although I know good protein and low carb. Share......pretty please.

well basically she told me that dense foods are better for snack and things that you can benefit from..unlike my smoothies and pudding. she told me to go for cheese or pepperoni. or if i need to have protein bar she said she takes the south beach bars and cuts them into 4 pieces and just eats one piece and not a whole bar. i just emailed her back and hopefully she'll give me some more ideas. i'll share them with you if she does. she doesn't count calories anymore or anything..she's so in tune with her body. i can only hope to be like that some day!! i dumped all my pudding in the trash and no more smoothies for me. i was making them with milk, yogurt, and fruit...sometimes with a scoop of protein powder. she told me to just eat the fruit or yogurt...not all of them at once. well...i'm off to watch the match game and it's bedtime for this girl...gotta get up early to start my new plan of attack on this body!! talk to you tomorrow.
