well luck for me i don't work right now and i just have the dog to take care of...so i keep myself busy 3 hours a day working out. i have a schedule i follow during the week. it's really rather scary for a person with no job to have a schedule but i do and i follow it almost to the minute. i'm weird like that though...i need structure. but if i have other things to do during the day i work them around my workout schedule.
i'm really trying hard to get this carb thing under control and get my weight off. i don't get it though...my weight isn't budging. i know i'm not eating as many calories as i'm burning...there's no way! but i'm at a loss....i have tried to get advice from that jeremy gentles or whatever his name is that does the exercise boards and he'll ask me a bunch of questions but never gets back to me. i've asked him a couple times and he's asked me the same questions both times and yet never gets back to me except to tell me that he'll get back to me soon....doesn't make sense to me!! my nut is no help either! i just want to know how many calories i should be taking in...is that so hard? and i don't really like those charts because they are all different and i don't know which one to follow. it frustrating!
I was going to do a post about this, but I will share it with you right here. I read in one of my magazines that if you have gained a few pounds or are trying really hard and doing great but the scales just won't go down it could be your exercise program. It said in there that if you have been doing a certain workout routine for a long time that the body gets used to it and no longer goes into lose mode. It is like oh she does this every day. It said to shake things up and keep the body wondering what you are doing so that is goes into the fight or flight response mode which helps us to lose. So, I have been trying to do something different each day I exercise. I will do WATP one night and then do step aerobics another night or Billy Blanks boot camp or taebo. I was the worst about doing the same thing every day. I am like that. I get in my little routine and get my schedule going and I am hard to make changes. But I have been trying. And it seemed to help the scales go the right way. So, spice things up a bit and throw your body for a loop and change up your exercise and see if that helps because you are absolutely right about you are definitely not eating more than you are burning. You are eating really good and exercising to the max.

I've read if you're expending more calories than you've taking in your body will go into starvation mode, the body then stops losing weight as a way of keeping you alive. Unfortunately when this happens the metabolism slows down too.
I've also read that exercise routines should be changed so the body doesn't grow use to them. Example: Try only doing one workout a day for a few days or only work out every other day for a couple of weeks and see what happens.
You've done a great job of losing your weight, but unfortunately sometimes being so perfect works against us.
Best of luck!
