monday check in.....
Bein' as Ah'm a Suthen Gurl.....when I was a kid...my mother would bake sweet potatos for dinner...and make a few extra. She would put the the leftover sweet taters in the fridge in the skins...and the next morning...she would slice them up and fry them in butter and we'd have them with eggs and biscuits......my o my o my was that good....sigh.

About the sweet potato, they are better for you than white potatoes. Diabetics can have them in moderation. They have lots of antioxidant vitamins with their orange color.
B- Low Sugar Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal, two pieces of toast
L- 6 in chicken teriaki sub from subway (at 3/4 of it)
D- Soft Taco, made at home with beef, cheese, lettuce, tomoato, onion, sour cream
S- nectarine

Dinner sounds good. I don't know where to say we want to go. We don't really know what all is there now since Katrina. I am ready for this weekend. We need a get a way for just the two of us. No kids. We deserve it too. We are celebrating 15 years together. Hard to believe we have been married that long. Time flies when you're having fun.

Restaurants open are : Casino Buffets which give us 1/2 price buffet with our restaurant cards, Outback, Chili's, Ruby Tuesday's (D'Iberville) or most all the restaurants in Gulfport to include a wonderful seafood restaurant on Hwy 49 called Lookout 49, they have Wonderful Amberjack. Congrats on 15 years!! We look forward to seeing you. Where are you staying while you are here?
