i hope everyone is having a good weekend! i had a pretty good day today. my sister was here and she's dieting so it made it a lot easier for me...
B-protein bar
banana w/peanut butter
S-fruit smoothie
bite of sf low carb pumpkin cheesecake
L-tuna, string cheese, apple
S-dried fruit...prunes and apricots
D-breakfast....low carb french toast w/banana & peanut butter
1/4 c. egg beaters...need some protein with the meal
S-protein bar (later tonight if needed)
how'd everyone else do today??
B- one bite of a strive protein bar, tasted so awfully sweet could not eat it, I used to eat these about a year ago all the time, not this flavor though. fried egg w/ lowfat cheese and 1 slice low carb bread
S-Half a cookie
L- tuna and one wasa
D 1/2 chicken salad low carb wrap made me nauseated for some reason cantelope
S 3 cheese crisps and SF Joseph lemon cookies
I might try a different protein bar before bed since not much protein and am feeling hungry now,
i bought several new bars this weekend took a bite of one...yuck...trashed it...tried another...yuck....trashed it...finally found one that was good. pure protein peanut marshmallow eclipse. YUMMY!!
i love the strive chocolate raspberry...and i've actually found another one that tastes just the same as that kind at my local Big Lots store and they were only 30 cents a bar. pretty good deal...
mmmm...cookies! i've seen these murray's mint chocolate cookies..they look like thin mints and i want to try them so bad but i won't let myself. i have no control over myself with the cookies! or anything sweet!! chocolate really....
enough of that...you had a good day and i hope you get the rest of your protein in...
one more day to the holiday week-end hope everyone has some relaxation and fun.
It's been 1 week, and I still am sick, called the Dr. yesterday and was prescribed an RX, hope it helps. Guess I still have no appetite since I don't feel well, but my dumb luck gaining weight, can't win. I am starting to worry about my protein in take. Can't eat protein bars gain weight from those, think I'll try some protein powder.
B=1 hard egg w/ half tsp. mayo
L=same, and jello
D= hamburger w/onions and mushrooms
salad w/ gorganzola cheese
S=1 orange
i hope the meds the dr. gave you help and you get to feeling better!! you may want to try the protein powder or shakes to try and get your protein in. i started making fruit smoothies with protein powder in them for a snack and a boost to my protein intake also. that seems to be working for me and they are a nice sweet treat. feel better soon!!
I will be glad to get back to my work day schedule. So much easier than weekends as far as eating goes. But I enjoy my weekends going and doing with my hubby and kids.

not a bad day at all melissa....i made sf lowcarb pumpkin cheesecake to take to moms for a bbq/birthday party and i made a couple cupcakes with it so my sister, niece and i could try them before i bring them for others to eat. it was pretty good. and not tOO bad for me. i just have to make sure i don't pig out on them. i made gooey butter cake for those who aren't on special diets....it looks so tasty!! i'm glad you did WATP...i didn't do crap yesterday but clean house and veg out with my sis. i'm going to do a 4 mile WATP here this morning before we have to go to the BBQ...
We are going to a BBQ today too. My mom of course wants me to do a sugar free dessert as I am the queen of baking healthy in our family. Sounds like you have that title in your family too. I love baking. Even more than that I love sharing it with others. That way I get to taste it but it is not sitting around later for me to eat on. I usually try to share when I bake so that I get one serving and it is gone. LOL. Whatever works! LOL.

Oh, by the way, wha****P workouts do you have? I have the 1,2, and 3 mile that came with that resistance belt for toning. I have two others I bought when I was heavy and they are beginners so too easy for me now. I only do the 3 mile one now with the shape I am in. I have been running or doing the elliptical for the last 2 to 3 years so I am in pretty good cardiovascular shape and it takes a lot to get my heart rate up. I see you do Leslie on a daily basis. I love her workouts but just need a new one to spice things up. Thought maybe you could give me an idea of what are some good ones. I went to her sight and didn't realize she had so many to choose from. I saw a 1 mile express jog that would be good when I am in a hurry.
