The chicken stuff is a recipe I got from a friend. Its actually a Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip, but I just eat it without chips (unless I'm being bad, LOL, then I'll grab some tortilla chips!) All I do is boil some chicken breast and then cut it up or shred it up pretty small. I add some light cream cheese and any kind of buffalo chicken wing sauce that you like~to taste. (I like a slight spice to my sauce rather than the sweet kinds). I just keep it in a container in the fridge so I can grab a small bowl of it when needed. Then just heat it up~althought its good cold too. I like it b/c the chicken doesn't get dry at all so it goes down very well and it has some flavor to it. I don't count my calories every day, but when I do and I'm being good its generally around 1600-1800 cal per day. On a bad day I'm probably more around 2000+. I think that's part of what drives me to stay active and exercise b/c I really enjoy eating so its a trade off~I feel I can eat a little bit more as long as I exercise daily. So far its working, but if I start gaining weight down the road then I'll have to revamp my plan. Tracy

thanks for the recipe...see i'm wondering if i need to increase my calorie intake. i mean i know i gained a few lately but i blame the carbs for that BUT now i've kicked up my exercise again to walking 7-8 miles a day 5-6 days a week (of walk away the pounds videos) and chicometrics/weights 3 days a week. i've been taking in about 1500 calories a day. i like the exercise and being able to eat more too...i enjoy eating as well i just need to make better choices (working on that now) i feel like all this walking is helping me sleep better too...which is always nice!

I think you might have hit on something there Steph. 1500 cals seems low with the work outs that you get in daily. Its so much trial and error, isn't it?!?!?!? If you try adding some more calories let me know how it goes. Wha****P do you do? I love the 5 mile dvd and do it several times a week. Tracy B

i REALLY want to get the 5 mile dvd! but times are tough right now and i have to wait to get it. anyway i have the older WATP 1-3 mile and i have WATP express miles 1-4. and i have one called walk the walk it's 2 miles but different moves than WATP. i kinda mix them up during the week. i do 5 miles in the morning on mwf then i do chicometrics then 2 miles in the afternoon. on t/th i do 5 miles in the morning then 2 miles midday then 2 more miles before dinner. i just have to mix the videos to equal the 5 miles. i usually do the 4 mile and 1 mile express together. then the 3 mile express with the walk the walk video. i got bored with the older WATP plus the one girl in the video beth that modifies the stuff annoys me...she just talks to get on camera more. i'm hoping to get the 5 mile soon. do you have the 4 mile express one? is the 5 mile hard or just more of the basic stuff only an extra mile??

Wow woman, You are a workout queen!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!! I bet you're in great shape though!!!! I have the 1-3mile express and a 1-3mile older set of tapes that I rarely do. I do not have the 4mile tape~is it a good one that you think I should get? I'm always looking for new things to change it up a bit. The 5 mile is an awesome work out. She starts it out full on right away~no easing you into it. Its pretty fast too, which I like b/c I don't have alot of time to waste! So here's the breakdown from the back of the dvd: Mile 1~Speed walk for 14min using the 2lb hand weights as a booster Mile 2~Speed up for the fastest pace ever-a quick 10min mile! Mile 3~Boost this mile with the walk belt (I don't have the belt so I just use the stretchy band and it works fine) Mile 4~Walk like a runner for a speedy 12min mile. Mile 5~Finish with a 12min mile using the stretchy band. Then there's a stetching segment at the end that's about 5min. You can do the whole thing including stretching in about 65min. The nice thing about the dvd is that besides the 5mile walk, they made 3 different 3 mile walks~its the same work out from the 5mile walk but broken down differently so you can do Fast Walk (12min mile), the Fastest Walk (10min mile) and then chose one of the boosters to finish up with~either the hand weight mile, the walk belt mile or the stetchy band mile. This is great if you need to fit a really fast 3miles in. My friend recently orderd and said that alot of her stuff was on clearance right now, but it was mostly tapes rather than dvd's~it doesn't really matter to me what format its in so maybe I'll go look to see if the 4mile tape happens to be on sale so I can check it out! Talk to you soon! Tracy

hey you...i read up some on the 5 mile video too and it sounds intense. i'm going to have to get that dvd! i love the fast miles but it wears me out!! i love getting that sweat flowing.... anyway the 4 mile is pretty good. no stretchie or weights just all walking. it's only got 2 quicker miles. mile 2 and 3 bump up to a little faster pace but i think they're both about 12 min. each. i think the whole thing takes about 55 minutes at the most and not much stretching at the end. it's a good alternative but obviously not as good as the 5 mile. that one just sounds awesome!! where did you get your 5 mile video? i've been looking around the internet and have really only found it on leslie's site or on collage video's site.

Hi! I ordered it right from her site~I couldn't find it anywhere else. That was back in March when it first came out (bday present to myself, LOL). I'm always afraid to recommend something to someone b/c I worry they won't like it, but since you do WATP all the time, I have a feeling you'd get alot out of this. I let my friend try mine first and she ordered it that same day! She could not find it anywhere else either so she ordered it thru Leslie's site. Its pricey, but worth it I think. What I like about her videos is that anyone can do them! Tracy
