I'M 2 YEARS OUT TOMORROW!

Hi everyone. Tomorrow will be my 2 year anniversary. Where did the time go? When I think back to this day 2 years ago, I still get a little anxious knowing that the next day my life would change forever. I can remember everything like it was yesterday. My surgery buddy Melissa and I, along with our husbands went to Wing Stop to have our final preop meal. Afterwards, we headed over to Walmart to pick up a few things in anticipation of what lay ahead of us postop. I remember staying awake most of the night praying to God that I would survive my surgery without any complications. When I think back, it amazes me how much my life has changed in the past 2 years. I'm so much more confident in every aspect of my life. I am so grateful for the OH website and the wisdom of it's members, I can't tell you how many nice people answered my silly questions as a newbie. Even now, those that are further out than me always answer my cry for help. I've put on between 5-7 pounds and am working to get them off. And if I can do that, there is nothing standing in my way to accomplish other goals that I have set for myself. I'm 42 years old and can honestly say that I feel like 22. Because of this surgery and the capable hands of my surgeon, I'm a happier person, wife, mother, daughter and friend. I hope they continue to make advances in bariatric surgery and that so many others will soon feel like me! Cathy
