Hi! As many of us are, I am struggling with some weight gain since my 2 year anniversary. So far I have regained about 12 pounds but really want to stop it now. My pouch is working fine it's just me that's making bad choices. I would love to hear from any of you that regained some weight and then successfully lost it. What would be the best advice you could give those of us still struggling? Thanks in advance for any help Mary 252/140/153 highest/ lowest/ regain

I am 29 months out from surgery, lost 220 lbs. I've been maintaining my weight loss for about a year. In May I went on a 2 week vacation followed by guest for several weekends after I came home. Bottom line I was eating as I perceive normal people eat and gained 12 lbs. The good news is it came off again, when I got serious and went back to basics as given to me by my surgeon. Of course exercise is always a part of my day. Eat 4 oz lean protein if still hungry Eat low carb veggies if still hungry Eat fruit Personally the 4 oz of dense protein fills me up at mealtime. I usually end up eating a piece of fruit for a snack once a day. Sometimes I cut an apple up in the morning and munch on it a couple of times during the day. I have to stay between 800-1,000 calories and exercise 45 or more minutes a day to lose weight at this stage. It's not easy but we can do it. I'm back to logging my food on FitDay to keep myself honest. Something about logging that food keeps me honest with myself. Best of luck on losing the weight. P.S. You've done a great job in losing your weight and the world won't come to an end if you stay at 153. My problem is when I see the regain I worry that soon I'll be back where I started. I sort of read that same theory in your post.
