sounds like a pretty good day! the southern comfort sounds pretty good too. i've thought about having a drink every now and then but i've gone 12 years without so why start now...right??

I say we give ourselves a nice pat on the back for hanging in there and doing good. Good luck to us all today as it is a new day to fight the carb and snacking monster. I look forward to us all checking in again tonight. Later, Melissa

B) Bacon, eggs, grits, cheese 348 Calories L) 4 oz pork loin 219 Calories S) 12 Almonds 83 Calories D) 4 oz chicken 188 Calories S) S.F. Fudgecicle (2 sticks) 80 Calories Total 998 Calories I did fine on the calories, but ended up with 41% fat. I've got to figure out a healthier breakfast, but I love eating a normal breakfast. At least it doesn't seem to effect my cholestrol since it was 151 at my last checkup. I think the exercise offsets the fat I eat. Worked out to Dancing with the oldies by Richard Simmons 45 minutes Worked in my yard 1 hour.

great job! i don't do so well with regular breakfast in the mornings. it seems like if i don't do my protein bar and banana my blood sugar is low in a couple hours. it's weird. and on the days i don't workout i have a hard time keeping my blood sugar up...which you'd think those would be the days it runs higher. who knows!! great job on the food and exercise!

B banana on the way to work S cantalope about 1/2 c chunks L cold roasted chicken about 1/2 c S rest of cantalope about 1/2 c chunks S fruit/nut trail mix about 1/2 c (usually waaaay more than that) D 1/4 ear corn on the cob, 1/2 small acorn squash I'll have a protien shake later to get the protien for dinner in. only 3 bottles of watter today. walked about a mile over lunch. pretty much sat in front of the computer rest of the day. I'm so impressed with those of you that really exercise. I have never liked exercising - walking is my thing usually. But the absoulte best thing is that this is the 3rd day with no pretzels! That is nothing short of a miracle!
