Hi everyone, I am new to this site, it is very interesting and very informative. I have a question for anyone *****ads this, I had a Gastric bypass almost 4 years ago. I lost 110 lbs.from 288 to 178 that was the lowest I have ever got. I have maintained my weight since I lost it all. For about three months now I've noticed that I can eat so much more than I could ever since the operation. I am really nervous about this because I gained about 15 pounds . I have tried going back on high protein drinks, eating just what I'm suppose to and I can't take off the 15 lbs. I gained.Does anyone have any suggestions. This is keeping me up at night worrying about gaining all that weight back. THANKS Janc57

There are several of us in a struggle right now to maintain and stay in control or to lose a few gained back pounds. That seems to happen after a few years out. I would suggest keeping a daily food intake journal. I just use a small memo pad that fits into my purse. I have a small purse size book with calories listed for most foods. I got that at Books a Million. Sometimes you think you are doing good but when it is acutally tallied up on paper sometimes you've eaten more than you think. I have kept my food journal since surgery and times I struggle I can look back and study my journal. It is always due to eating too many carbs and too much snacking or bites here and there. Several of us have started a daily check in on here to help one another get back on track and stay there. Just look for the daily check in post and join in with us. Just do your reply to everyone by using the post reply at the top so we can all see it and help you out. I find having that support from people really helps me. Good luck, Melissa
