Day 3 - carb control!!

well how'd you guys do today?? B- protein bar banana w/peanut butter S- 1/2 fruit smoothie L- Tuna sandwich on low carb multigrain bread jello w/pineapple S-1/2 fruit smoothie D-grilled buffalo chicken salad pudding did 6 miles of walk away the pounds 1 1/2 hours consisting of chicometrics and additional arm work with free weights not to bad of a day i'd say.... who's next???

Hey Steph, I did well today too. We went for lunch at the Olive Garden and I didn't let one bread stick or cruton touch these lips (and you know what, I left satisfied just the same) Bike ride this morning before breakfast B-Jalapeno cheese and buffalo chicken breast S-Handfull of grapes L-Salad and Toscana Soup (Yummy) S-Handfull of spicy peanuts D-1/2 grilled pork chop and cabbage with onions and bacon S-? Water, Vites, Exercise-all done! Thank God I made it through another day, it wasn't easy.. Have a great night!!! Huggs, Sharon

Great job again today!! woo hoo...one more day down! yeah for us! and i'm soooo proud of you for resisting the bread sticks..i know that's a tough one cuz olive garden bread sticks are awesome.

2 cups regular coffee with creamer and equal On the way to work - 20 oz orange CL with french vanilla protein powder and 2 spoons of benefiber (20 g protein) [my "regular" protein drink] 4 slices of bacon protein bar (21 gms) 3 catfish filets (about 3 oz, so 21 gms) 16 oz of H2O while getting my food and waiting in line. another protein drink on the way home from work (20 gms) I do this just about every day during the week................. 72 oz fluids 82 gms protein + the bacon big variety today added some bacon and had fish instead of chicken, LOL------------------------------------------------------ supper ham and cream cheese roll-up 20ish gms protein 16 oz sf decaff tea another banana with sf chocolate pudding I don't stray much during the week

i tried a little bit of pudding with my banana this morning and it was good!! thanks for the idea! i may have to try a whole one next time. yummy!! way to go on the big change up from fish to chicken...LOL you said you don't stray much during the week..i feel ya..saturdays are my worst day of the week... i'm out running with my mom and sister all day and we always eat lunch out. that's really the only day of the week i eat out and i usually eat whatever but i guess that's gotta change starting this week.

I did pretty good today. I did let some carbs into my evening meal, but not too bad overall. B Bacon/Cheese omelet S apple L chef salad with 1.5 tbs ranch dressing (again no crackers or croutons) S Kashi bar D 6 chips with salsa 1/2 soft chicken taco on wheat tortilla 3 tbs refried beans Wednesday is eat out night because I get off too late to come home before church. So we go somewhere and then go to church. Tonight the kids wanted Mexican. S 1 russell stover low carb chocolate bar (not too bad, it was the milk chocolate with almonds i found at Walgreens) It is the week before my time of the month so I have cravings for chocolate LOL. I am taking a B-6 supplement along with my vitamins as my nutritionist said that is supposed to help with PMS cravings. You start taking it 1 week before and continue it until the last day. I find it does help. Melissa

hey great job...i know what you mean about the pms cravings. mine should be hitting me any day now. you know what...i forgot i had a piece of my hubbys low carb tortilla with my salad...oops. oh well....it was low carb at least!! i'll have to try that B6 trick!!

Hi Steph! I'm joining you b/c I've been having a hard time too (see post below,LOL) but my stress eating was allowing me to add in way too many carbs and just plain bad foods. Today went much better! B~NSA CIB S~cottage cheese L~salad w/shaved deli turkey, cheese, croutons, ranch S~strawberries w/cool whip D~Dannon Crave Control yogurt w/fiber 1/2C Fiber One (have to eat this daily to keep things moving!) S~banana w/pb Go**** seemed like I ate so much but when I look at it all written out it doesn't seem like that much, LOL! Anyway, I didn't give in to the Wheat Thins!!!!!!!! Got in all my water and vitamins Walked 3miles Chicometrics basic~I have to say, I just got my dvd today and it kicked my butt, LOL! It was a really good work out. Hope my arms and legs don't feel like jello tomorrow! Tracy B 328/150 5'9"

oh yeah....tracy's joining in! i read your post..you poor baby! it'll be ok... i'm glad you got the chico video too...i love it!! it's a pretty good workout. it gets boring sometimes and all that counting gets to be annoying but it's worth it. i remember hurting the day after my first chico workout and right after doing it i tried walking the doggie and wow did my legs feel like jello on the stairs! wow...anyway, i'm glad you're joining us!!

I have been scared to post... I dont really know why but you may be able to help me I have hit a rough spot with the carbs and impulse eating. I have gained 10 lbs and am sooooooo disappointed in my self! I find carbs much easier on the pouch. Protien sits heavy and makes me uncomfortable. Any suggestions? I am trying the basics today so right now I am having a protien drink. I wont post what I ate yesterday because it was all bad Thanks for being there! Hugs, Trudi
