dx the true southern gentleman!

last night i had the pleasure to meeet dx ..omg the man is what you call a true southern gentleman..hes got this real cute southern accent and impecable mannors.. and killer eyes and let me tell you his picture on the board does him no justice! hes funny sweet and full of life.. i will be downloading pictures later on the suns out the pools calling my name we had a blast with jane and her husband a northern gentleman.. linda ,rita(thank you for all the pastry ) babas jane you happy? hahaha and im sorry we met a couple from marlboro and i lost your card! sweet couple dx thanks for dinner and next time its on us! no they wouldnt take a restraunt card..(hahahaha) and we got the prooff on that! a toast was made to poppa hot rolls wish he was there and a good time had by all. pics wil be posted later cioa joann

It was just a super night all around... Really enjoyed meeting everyone new and reconnecting with everyone else. JoAnn, my friend, you always make me smile, Jane and Bruce and Lynda, it is always a pleasure... and welcome to Doug and Melissa and last but not least Dx it truly was a pleasure to spend some time with you. And pictures can lie...we really didn't eat all that food...although true to form we probably drank gallons of water!!!! Are we ready for the next time???? Thanks to all for a wonderful evening

I'm sooooooo jealous. I wish I could have been there. And what is a baba? I've been reading about them and I have a sneaky suspicion I would loooove one. I want one. I'm used to eating the wrong things and making myself sick. Just ask Lynda....when we went to Tampa...I ate steak and really got sick...not dumping...but puking...then in Boston, I couldn't resist the lobster bisque in a bread bowl....I only ate the top of the bread but I ate ALL the bisque...and dumped like a dump truck. It only lasted about 20 minutes and I was fine.....so you see....I dump on fats....not sugar......I swear, if we had a bakery here, I'd go get one now....... Glad you had a good time. When you get ready to come to Florida...let me know....we'll spend a few days on the beach then drive down to Fort Myers and make Lynda cook for us.... Hugs Charlie

There is nothing like a Southern gentleman (unless its a good lookin' Italian) and I'm glad you got to meet Dx....I knew he would be a class act. Maybe someday I'll get to meet him. I'm thinking about driving down to the Fort Lauderdale OH event this weekend....Just not sure yet. I love to meet the people I've talked to on here and learn new secrets and just have a good time. DRAT, sorry I missed all the actions but got busy at work and forgot to call Lynda until about 11 last night... oops.. bit to late by then. Glad a good time was had by all.. DRAT I missed the southern accent... I have one of my own... (from VA and 12 yrs in San Antonio). I would have felt right at home... cant wait to see the pics. Karen
