My PS Update
DeAnna,
I was originally recommended to Dr. Buckley in Tupelo.
Buckley has done a number of folks up here in Oxford
And they all seem to love him. But very few men,
And he had not yet dealt with a patient that had my 'previous complications'
Such as having to come off and back on Coumadin for the surgery.
I didn't want to be his first!
After meeting with him, I went looking far and wide.
Don't know Jackson Docs, but BAMA has quite a few,
And my original "talent pool" was to search out Atlanta.
Several Nationally Renowned Plastic Surgeons there.
The Memphis Group were incredibly impressive, even when comparing
Them to some of the Atlanta folks.
On the 'plus side' of self pay-
It's a lot cheaper than I ever could have imagined.
Best wishes-
Dx
Awe heck, if I didn't like you so much, I'd be jealous and hate you!!!! Seriously, you deserved an easy surgery/recovery...especially since the original RNY!!!! I had my TT about 4 months ago and the swelling does go away, but sneaks back in by the end of the day particularly if I have had an active day..... anyways, it only gets better from here.... it took me three months before I could exercise again without blowing up like a balloon..... take it easy guy...... just walk in that hot Mississippi humidity and you'll stave off any weight gain......
Enjoy your flat tummy... can you bounce a dime off your gut?
Laurie - minus 186 lbs!!
I am pleased to log on here and find your post. I just booked my PS for October and hope I do as well as you did with your surgery. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I went to my GP yesterday who seems concerned that I am still losing. I have lost another 4 lbs in July. After I read your post I figure I will have a bit of room for swelling - a bit of regain from lack of activity while I heal.
Thanks for posting a positive experience.
