Final Step Tomorrow!
Well, it's been 1 1/2 yrs. and tomorrow I take the last step I never thought I would need, even according to the drs (shows what they know rofl), my tt. I have reached my goal weight, and lost more than the dr. predicted a whopping 125lbs
I am nervous about tomorrow, more than I was with the GP but am more excited also. I cant wait to wake up and see no "front butt" as we affectionately call my tummy (due to an old vertical scar in the middle).
taking this journey has been the best decision of my life! And this web site has been my lifesaver. thank you to all who post ther stories and info.
See you all later this week.

-125 lbs!

Giovanna,
Have the Greatest PS Ever!
I'm close to fully recovered from mine.
It was much easier than the WLS because-
When you come home, you just have to deal with the Post-surgical stuff.
Not that, Plus, learning to completely adjust your lifestyle and eating, etc...
It's also my personal belief, that the Plastic Surgeons
Are a little more liberal with the Pain meds.
Mine sure was. Gave me multiple meds for -
Sever pain, medium pain, sleep aid, and mild pain.
Made managing Post-op a lot easier.
I could be virtually pain free
Without being completely looped all the time.
Wow, 1 ½ years already?
Seems just a bit ago you were headed in to start all this.
May you have a record-breaking recovery!!
Best Wishes-
Dx
Thanks Dx. I hope my dr. is more liberal with the pain meds, i hate being loopy and with a teenager in treatment in WI I need to be not be asap. Thanks for the encouragement...
As for the time, I know, I still can't believe it myself and that it worked even! I am so happy with the life that this surgery has allowed me to have. It can only get better!
See you in a few days
Giovanna
