Melissa, How are you!?!?! Your success brings happy tears to my eyes! You look phenomenal and must feel even better. I will tell you what-had I even KNOWN about the DS I FOR SURE would have gone with it. It seems the most sensible in the long run, and you are proof! WOW WOW WOW! You shaved YEARS off your life! It is so nice to see so LESS of you Congrats! Erica

Hi Erica, I remember you from the post op pregnancy board. I too am in a similar situation. I had my baby 5 months ago and when pregnant, I allowed myself to fall into bad a lot of the bad habits that plagued me pre op. I lost all of the baby weight but have recently put on 6 more pounds. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone and hopefully we can nip this in the bud!! Thanks, Shannon

Hey Shannon! Congrats on your new baby! What a struggle, huh? I have gained five pounds in the past year and I am scared it is going up and up! I've got to get control!!! Good to see you! Erica

Who is Jessica O and did she die from a complication due to WLS. I want to know because I am thinking about having RNY surgery.

Dawn, Jessica was a Gal who had a number of complications Post-op for a very wide variety of reasons. And just about the time she had "Turned the Corner" She was diagnosed with cancer. I truly believe that some of her Cancer symptoms would have been Identified earlier if the Docs didn't blame all of her aches and pains on Her WLS complications. A Fighter, Funny, Witty, Completely Irreverent and a Supportive Voice On the Boards amidst her continued problems. The Chemo made her very weak but did not stop the cancer in time. She corresponded with me for a year as we were "Complication Buddies." There are a number of folks who have complications, even if EVERYTHING Is done correctly by the surgeons. (profile) However- The odds are in greatly in the favor of having NONE. Jessica O was a Spit-Fire who is missed. Best wishes- Dx

Hi Erica- I remember you, too. I have been gone a long, long time, too. Sadly, I have gained back ALOT of weight. I am still 150lbs under my start weight, but it was 185...I am just totally lost and depressed.
