Most of you probably do not know me or remember me. I had GBS Dec 15, 2003 and lost just under 100 pounds. I have given birth to a beautiful baby girl who will be 1 Aug 1. I have really lost my way from the weight loss surgery world. I try to eat well, but I know if I don't smarten up I am going to start gaining. I had gained 30 with my pregnancy lost 20 and have put on 5 in the past year. I am scared to gain. I can eat so much more now. I dreamt the other night that I had the surgery again. I woke up wishing I could so I could go back to the honeymoon phase. I just checked the memorials and was shocked to see Jessica O had passed. Good God how sad. I hope her family and so are managing ok. What a tragedy. I wanted to say hello to everyone, and congrats to all who are maintaining and doing well. I need to get back into the swing of things!! Hey, Erica! Remember me??? We missed each other at last year's Fairfax Fair. So nice to see you posting! I go to a number of support groups in the area if you are interested, let me know. Perhaps they can help. A big hug to you, Kathy

Kathy! I would never have recognized you! Congrats on your success!!! Thanks for the offer of the support groups, but I am back in NH! We were in VA just for a year. I'm back to the land of iced coffee, lol. We bought a house!! Life is good. I just need to get my eating back on track! Glad to see you!

Hi Erica! I'm new around here so we've never met, but nice to meet you! Congratulations on your baby~that's exciting! It sounds to me like you're doing a pretty good job weight wise considering you've had a baby and your 2.5yrs post op, but I do understand what you mean about gaining weight being a HUGE fear! Hi Tracy! Wow! You look awesome! Congrats! I have been doing pretty well, but I think I am at the point where I can go one way or the other, and I need motivation!!! Just looking at my fat pics doesn't seem to help!!! I am going to try and be more involved here! Thanks for the "hi"! Erica

Hey, girl. I remember you. Your surgery was a month before mine. We were on the main board about the same time asking questions and such. I knew you were pregnant and often wondered where you were and how you were doing. I am glad your pregnancy went well, and you have a healthy little one running around. I think we all get off track every now and then and need to be remotivated. I find that this grad board is the best place for that. I hope you will become active once again and post often. I remember when you were on the boards daily offering motivation to people. Now it is your turn to get some well deserved motivation for yourself. So, if you ever need anything just yell. Good luck Melissa Lap Rny 1/15/04 277/135

Hey Toots ... My my ... The baby will be a year old on the 1st ... Time flies, huh? My advice is get back to basics. The pouch rules. No drinking with meals and protein first. (Pretty good advice coming from a DSer with NO POUCH, huh?) Good to cya. Good luck and God bless ... & {{{HUGS}}} & MM
