If she weighs 138 pounds @ 5' 7", I'll gnaw off my own hand (it's numb anyway ).
I'm not trying to be spiteful...I just don't care for two-faced people.

Is that what she claims she weighs? 138 pounds and is 5'7" tall. I am with you on this one. If that is true, I will stand beside you and gnaw my hand off LOL. Hell, I'll gnaw my whole arm off. LOL.
Who is she trying to kid anyway? Why lie about it? It only makes her look like an idiot when she starts to preach to people about regaining their weight.

5'4" 135 to 137 (and I am not lying LOL)
Thanks for posting the article. Don't worry about the people who don't agree with it. They were given a forum to express their ideas and opinions which is always a good thing.
Susan Marie may not be perfect, she may or may not still be at her lowest weight, she may or may not be in it only for the business it will bring her, but she brought out some good points. I read the article, took out the points I needed to hear at this point and disgarded the things I saw as negatives. Bottom line I did benefit from reading her rant.
I tend to agree with SM. I also find her to be a bit too pontifical for my taste. I think her status as WLS Superstar is a bit much. I have very good filters for my ears and eyes and am quite capable of ignoring that which I find less than useful. If she's gained weight, who cares? Star Jones? Who cares? In the end we have to paddle our own canoes through the rapids, we sink or swim on our own merits. People who mind other peoples business often do so because they little business of their own to occupy their time.

I am 5'10" and weigh the same as I did after my surgery...195. I never got skinny and didn't want to. I am healthy. The reason I never changed my WLS picture from my pre-op one is simple... I am the same person. I look a bit different, but I have the same face. I do not want to be a measure for someone else's success or failure. Did WLS work for me...YES. Do I use my success to rant about other "BARIATRIC FAILURES".... nope. I think a pat on the back and positive reinforcement is more appreciated and more motivational. Maybe SM should move in that direction. What she says is partially true, but is in fact... her personal opinion.
I wish everyone the best in their own personal journey.
HUGS.
