Dough belly?

I am currently twenty months out and I experienced the same four months ago. Upon seeing my gynecologist I found that I had enormous fibroid tumors growing in that very area. I too assumed it was a hernia until I was told this. Of course, I did see my gyno for serious ailments not pertaining to this massive swelling in my tummy. I then required a hysterectomy and to my surprise it was these huge fibroid tumors filling that area. There were nights that I would wake up and what was just swelling the day before was a large mass and then it would go away. Maybe this is something you could look in to if it appears to be nothing currently mentioned in other replies. Though I know this probably something you didn't want to hear it is possible. My tumors weighed a total of four lbs. I was excited to see the swelling disappear upon my recovery. Good luck and I wish you the best. Brenda
