I'm 4 years out from gastric bypass and gaining weight. Have anyone had a revision? Anyone in PA or NJ?

Do you have a staple line disruption? Or are you eating way too much and the wrong things? I'm 4 years out...and I've gained a bit...but its because I eat too much. I have to diet now to lose...and I have to watch what I eat all the time..... Good luck Charlie

Lori I too am 4 yrs out RNY and have gained, but I know it is because I am eating the wrong foods and have slowed way down on exercising. I was reading anothers advise, go back to the plan. Eat protien first, don't drink with meals, small frequent feedings, push water and most of all exercise. I bet your body will respond. I pray mine will. I am going to try to follow up on here make myself accountable again.. hope to hear from you...Renee'

Thanks for the above statements and advice. At 3 years out, I have definately gained, and have got to get accountable for what I eat and how much I exercise. Will definately be checking in on this board (belong mostly to MS board) with the grads and what is working for us...DeAnna.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I am 2-years out and have actually hit chart weight. I'm constantly living in fear of the "rebound." I watch everything I put in my mouth. I was hoping the rebound horror stories were the result on apathy, not a natural course of nature. I've worked too hard to regain, and I'll fight it every step of the "weigh." Why are there so few stories out there about long-term post-ops? Please post. It helps us all. Good luck to all! John
