Jewelry & other satisfiers

Just thought I would add a little insight: I have noticed (as has a friend of mine), that since I have gained 22 pounds back and the noticeable roll around the middle and lower stomach, that I have no incentive to shop for those really nice size 10,12 clothes. I'm now in a 14/16 and not happy. When I shop now, it's for jewelry, and household items. I have also learned that when I lose this weight (God willing), that I will shop for "quality" instead of quantity. At least it's not doughnuts. But the Frappachino has got to go, as do the Power Crunch Bars and Achieve One drinks. They are just too good. Just a thought! Marilyn

I can relate to the problem with Power Crunch bars. They just taste too good to be healthy. I've been eating too many of them recently, but decided today that they have to go until I can once more be in control of my eating. There always seems to be some trigger trying to lead us back to bad habits. Like you I've gained some weight (12 lbs) but I know it's all about not sticking to my food/exercise program recently. Mentally I feel like I've gained 100 lbs, so the thought of buying clothes is no longer fun. Time for us to stop this insanity and get back to basics. I started this morning by skipping my mid morning Power Crunch bar. I refuse to watch that scale creep back up any more, now it's time to watch it drop again. We can do this. Best of luck!
