Hi D, Just based on your before photos pictures and your start BMI it's possible that you might have Lymphedema in your legs like Tooter said. You seriously might want to just look into that. I know I've got this issue too and it's pretty much in part to my Lymphedema. You can have milder cases. Just some thoughts to share with you. Amy

Thank you soooooo much Amy. I know you have suffered with your lymphedema!!! I've followed you and your story since I've been here. What an inspiration you are. I love your picture!! You look so happy and carefree!!!! I will ask the Dr. about the lymphedema next time I go. I'm not really sure what that is so I'll have to do some research. Thank you. Dancin' D

D, There are not many doctors that understand or know about Lymphedema, so don't be surprised if they have no idea. If you go to my website www.amylhwilliams.com you can get some information about it there, from the drop down there are several options about getting some information about it. Amy

I honestly believe that people who carry their weight in their lower body--hips and legs have a much harder time getting to 'normal'. I have no documented proof on that--just my own personal history as well as observations of others with the same problem. While my BMI is 'normal' my legs are still really big. My saddlebags are hideous. Even more out of proportion than before. The loose skin from losing weight has dropped down and just sits at the bottom part of my butt. I do not believe my legs are ever gonna be 'normal'. I haven't seen anyone with legs like mine who does look normal. That being said I just want you to know that I am thrilled with what I have accomplished. I feel great and look great--except in that one area. Oh well--what ya gonna do? After reading all the horrible stories about thigh lifts I don't see that happening. It would take some major liposuction and Idon'treally think I have seen terrific results from that. Good luck to you.
