Q#1What are your eating habits like? How many meals, how much are you eating? Are you drinking diet soda's(not that you should be), protein? My habits are what work for me - I have to eat at least every 2 to 3 hours or my blood sugar will drop and I start to feel awful. I also eat bread and rice and tortillas, etc. However, what I do is make sure I hit my protein first. I still dump easily - so sugar is a no-no for the most part. I drink a soda every once in a while, but not often. Must say water does get boring...I have recently started drinking coffee again, but if I have more then one cup I will regret it. Since I have continued to lose a pound or so a month - I am not worried about my eating habits. Q#2: What kind of vitamins are you taking? I am not very good at remembering to take my vitamins every day. Working on that. That said - when I remember them I take 2 multi-vitamins, 2 B12, 2 B6, 2 A&D, 2 C, and 2 iron. Remember - once you start on them again to take them AFTER eating. Q#3: How do I start over? Not sure how to suggest starting over again. I know for me I "fall off the wagon" when I don't have a routine (Like right now since I am off for the summer) Best of Luck. Anne 263/150/129

Thanks Anne - I need to start a routine and soon I want to say I fell of the wagon and not be off in my ditch again... lol. Today was a new day.. I didn't make all wise food choices but I did drink all my water and take my vitamins... it's a start I suppose! Thanks again, Angelina

Hi Angelina and Congratulations on the new baby!!!!!!!! 1~I eat 3 meals a day and usually 2 snacks. An average day would be: B~oatmeal pancake w/sf syrup S~strawberries w/cool whip L~small salad with shaved deli turkey, cheese, croutons and ranch S~a few wheat thins or banana w/pb D~this is where I struggle. I never know what to eat. cottage cheese, chicken breast, chili, etc I eat around 1800 cal per day and I am currently trying to maintain my weight. I have been losing a little here and there though, mostly due to it being summertime I think. I exercise usually 5x's per week~Walk Away the Pounds 5 mile dvd is my favorite work out. 2~I still take good old Flintstones Complete, Calcium and sublingual b12. 3~getting back to the basics is how I always start over. focus on protein firs****er and exercise. Getting back on track with your vitamins is very important too. Tracy B 328/151 5'9"

Tracy, I guess that's what I needed to know.. the basics.. I had to eat like a manic to stop from losing too much weight during my pregnancy and most of the times I had to eat high calorie foods.. stuff we wouldn't eat normally.. so for nine months my food choices were extremely contradictory to the bypass surgery.. now I realize.. I need the basics. I journaled today.. I think that'll help like someone suggested and made sure I got in those vitamins. You look gorgeous by the way.. Thanks, Angelina

Just going to weigh in on the vitamins. I use Walgreens Optisource. It's a chewable made especially for bariatric patients. I take four a day, two at a time. I also take calcium citrate with magnesium and vit D. That's it. My labs are perfect.
