Thank Goodness I Found You!
I bet you didn't know you were lost? LOL! Hi, my name is Deb k. I am 17 months out from surgery (Feb 05) and I needed to hear about others in their journey after a year.
I really liked the one on the tail bone, I too have been having that problem! I almost went to the Dr.'s to see if something was wrong...I am so glad that this is normal! LOL! Keep sharing your life changes with this board...you are making a difference. Thank you so much..deb k
Hi Deb.
Welcome to the Grads post. I am 19 months out, lap RNY, still struggling to lose the last 30 pounds. I haven't experienced any complications, but I often feel that I can eat too much. I have to try and stick very close to routine eating, to maintain a 1-4 pound loss per month. The slow pace is discouraging, but I try to remain positive that I will achieve my goals. I hope you find great support on this site. I always have.

Kelly, Hi and thank you for the welcome. My regular diet is as follows: Protien shake or in my coffee & one banana(breakfast) Snack...carrots Lunch...Salad with fat free dressing, Snack...banana & peanut Butter...Dinner...Fish, veggie or chicken...last Snack...pretzels( I still have a problem controling the pretzels) That is where I gain a pound or two but it comes right back off. Also I drink 64 oz plus if it is really hot out. I hope this helps you - I've lost 96 lbs and the dr doesn't want me to loose much more but I want to be 120 that is only 5 lbs more - but I haven't been in a hurry to loose it either. Oh yes, I do walk 2 miles most days and on days I get too busy I try to cut carbs down. Take care..deb k
HI! You are almost my surgery twin - mine was on Feb. 21, 2005 - but Feb. 22 is my actual real birthday. How much have you lost? How are you doing? I went for about 2 months recently without losing an ounce, but recently the scale has been moving a bit. I sooo need plastics - how are you doing with loose skin?
