Date set for LBL and Abd. Hyst

Hey Everybody, I'm having an abdominal hysterectomy and lower body lift on August 10!! I'm excited and a bit scared...we have a cruise scheduled for September 17th...5 1/2 weeks after my surgery. Please pray for speedy and complete healing for me! I'm taking my vitamins...always do...increasing my protein drinks and exercising daily so I can be in the best shape possible to heal well. Thanks for the prayers! I appreciate it! I'm a little nervous about the surgery too...I keep getting conflicting stories on what to expect. I'm just going to be very positive about it and trust that I'll do well!! Cindy

Cindy, I will keep you in my prayers and I am excited for you!!! I am having my lbl, bl and al at the end of September. For healing my PS has recommended that I get at least 100g of protein a day and to take additional vitamin C. Mary M. 415/159

Thanks for the info Mary! I have increased my protein shakes to three a day for about 66 grams and then the additional protein I get from food will probably get me to at least 100 grams! Good luck with your procedures too! Cindy 234/139/134
