Ok everybody, I guess it's like making a hair appt, your hair automatically does better AFTER you make the appt. Well, I guess talking w/ everyone on here, my stomach pain is gone as quick as it came 5 days ago. GO FIGURE!!! It is still sore feeling but definately better. I ate popcorn at the movie today and some baked potato and 1 bbq rib. I know I shouldn't have pushed it. My gastric rny dr finally called me back and after I explained everything to him, he said it sounded like gallbladder, I really don't think so. I mentioned stricture, adhesions, blockage he said "well maybe". He wants to see me anytime I have problems. Well, hello, I live 3 1/2 hours away, and as I already mentioned I don't like to take time off work for an appt for him to tell me all the tests are normal!!! I did get him to agree to letting me have a CT here and take the films w/ me to him next week. I hope (in a weird way) that I am hurting again by then so maybe this time it will show something and he can take care of it right then instead of me having to come back another time. He told me to take Prilosec OTC 1/day, and Pepcid complete several times/day to get some relief (which I have already been doing) Laying in the fetal position with a pillow under my stomach and one behing my back did seem to give me some relief. I didn't realize that there are so many of you that have also had similar pains. Maybe together we can figure it out even if the doctors can't. Stay in touch!! Georgina

Ok, forget it, my stomach pain is back again. I guess it is back to scrambled egg & toast for a while. I still can't contribute it to the bbq, there was hardly any sauce. Yeah, yeah...I know any excuse I can find to say it wasn't my fault Georgina

It sounds like gallbladder, especially with the pain that goes into the back. You can have negative gallbladder tests and still have problems with the gallbladder. I hope you get to the bottom of it soon.

Well with the same pain...I have no gall bladder so its not that for me.. I hope it is for you. Ask Your dr about an internal hernia..and Superior Mesanteric Artery Syndrome. Thats what my WLS dr thinks mine might be...all the other tests have come back normal. My pain comes and goes too. I went for a month without any pain...today I had it after I ate ( about 45 min after) I layed down in fetal position on right side and the pain was gone in 2 minutes. Its not a certain food i eat that triggers it either. So ask your Dr about these things and I hope all goes well for you. Cha
